Neon Symposium -Pilchuck

From September 2 – 4, 2023, Pilchuck Glass School was aglow as expert neon artists, fabricators and historians gathered to offer demonstrations, lectures and collaborations that addressed the possibilities and challenges most pertinent to today’s practitioners. Pilchuck has long served as a trading post of technical knowledge and creative inspiration for neon artists.

This was the first Neon Symposium to be held at Pilchuck and it welcomed creators and enthusiast from around the USA and world. Opening up traditional techniques and inspiring new generations. For me it was incredible this event happened only a couple of days after my neon course had finished. I stayed a few more days and got to meet some of the people who literally wrote the books on Neon! This symposium allowed connections that I feel will last a lifetime!
