‘BIG’ Biot Glass Festival 2022

September 23rd - 25th 2022 saw the return of BIG Glass Festival in Biot, South of France. I was fortunate to be included in the line up for demonstrating my Echinus series and to be a part of a memorial collaborative demonstration which included 12 female glass artists from around the world. This glass festival was unlike any I had visited, set in the French Rivera it was the most beautiful setting and warmest people. My first demonstration was at Verrerie du Val de Pome, here they were fabulous in making me feel welcome and I got to work with 4 French glass blowers. The second demonstration was at Pierini Glass Studios and it was to honour Gaelle Pierini, there were 12 international female artists working collectively to create a glass installation that will be on permanent display in their gallery. It was a true honour and pleasure to have been involved in such a tribute.
